About the City of Bloomington Turkey Trot
The race runs through Miller Park, a historic park in Bloomington, on Thanksgiving morning. The setting gives it a proper seasonal feel, the kind of place where bare trees and cold air make a holiday run feel right. Dogs and strollers are strongly discouraged, so the course stays clear.
Packet pickup happens at Fleet Feet Bloomington the two days before the race, with a window on race morning at the park as well. Pre-registering is worth doing: only those who register ahead of time are eligible for prizes, including Fleet Feet gift certificates.
