About the Christmas Rush
The course runs along the Green River, and the terrain there is flat and path-like, the kind of surface that suits most paces. The longer distance takes a different shape from the shorter one, crossing the river and finishing on the opposite bank. Both routes end at the same spot, so the finish area fills up as each wave comes in.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at Road Runner Sports, with race-morning pickup available for those who cannot make it. Parking is at Hogan Park on Russell Road.
