About the Christmas in Springboro 5k Run/Walk
The course runs through historic downtown Springboro, with the start at a central street corner and the route winding through the older part of town. It reads as a neighborhood race through a place that takes its holiday season seriously, and the surroundings give it some character underfoot.
Race-morning packet pickup is at a beer tent on the main corner downtown, which also serves as the post-race gathering spot. There is a post-race beverage included, and awards go out shortly after finishers come in. Proceeds support several local assistance programs.
