About the Christmas Classic 5K and Fun Run

The 5K runs through Arab City Park Historical Village after dark, with Christmas lights and decorations lining the route. Costumes and holiday attire are part of the scene, and glow-in-the-dark items are handed out at packet pickup. Bringing a small flashlight is a good idea. A shorter fun run for kids follows the 5K, with adults welcome to join them at no extra charge.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at Lifespring Baptist Church, with additional pickup available at the park on race day. Note that the main park entrance is closed for construction; the only way in is from the south side off Fry Gap Road. Hot chocolate and Christmas cookies are at the finish, along with live music and awards.
