The courses run out and back along a flat route, so there are no real surprises underfoot. The shorter distances each do a single out and back, while the half marathon covers the same ground a couple of times. Flat pavement means legs feel the effort rather than the grade, and paces tend to be honest reflections of fitness.
Registration and check-in open at the race site on the morning of the event, roughly an hour before the gun. There is no confirmed day-before pickup unless the organizers announce one, so build in some extra time at the start area.
