About the Chili Chase 5k
The course runs through the center of Oceana, starting and finishing at a park pool parking lot. It stays mostly flat with only minor rolls, the kind of surface that rewards anyone hoping to run a quick time. The surroundings are the everyday streets and scenery of a small Wyoming County town.
Registration and pickup both happen at the start area on race morning. After the race, the awards ceremony moves to an amphitheater nearby, and the local chamber of commerce provides drinks.
