About the Children's Recovery Center 5k Run/Walk

The race starts and finishes at Morse Park Landing along the main highway through Murrells Inlet, right on the water. The event is a fundraiser for a local child advocacy center, so the crowd tends to include a lot of families and supporters who are there as much for the cause as for the running.

Packet pickup the evening before is at a restaurant on the same highway, where you can have dinner and enter raffle prizes while you sort out your bib. Race-morning pickup opens early at the park, and a free breakfast is set out for runners after the finish.
