About the Chick-fil-A 10k/5k
The course runs through the Mariners' Museum grounds and out along Riverside Drive beside the James River, then crosses Lions Bridge before looping back. Everything underfoot is paved and the route is straightforward to follow. The Chick-fil-A cow theme runs through the whole morning, and there is a shorter fun run option alongside the main distances. A post-race family zone keeps things going after you finish.
Parking is assigned at packet pickup, so you will know before race morning whether you are heading to the Ferguson Center garage or the Riverside Regional Medical Center campus. Those at the latter location have shuttles to the start, but the shuttles stop before the gun goes off, so arriving early matters. The museum itself has no general runner parking.
