About the Chasing Change; Steps for Special Needs 5K
The race takes place at Quiet Waters Park, and the setting does most of the work: shaded paths, open grounds, and the kind of calm that makes a morning run feel unhurried. Several distance options mean people of different abilities and goals show up, which fits the spirit of the event, a benefit for an organization focused on building more inclusive Muslim communities for people with disabilities and their families.
The race is put on by QURE Sports, and the charitable focus is woven into the event rather than tacked on. Post-race, expect the atmosphere of a gathering as much as a finish line, with families and friends making up a good part of the crowd.
