About the Charlotte Days 5K

The course runs through the middle of town and has one real hill in it. The climb is noticeable, and the descent on the other side moves fast. It is a road race, so the surface is consistent underfoot, and the route stays within the town rather than heading out into open country.

A kids' fun run goes off before the main race, so the start area has families around early. The two events run back to back on the same morning, which keeps things moving and gives younger runners a chance to finish before the adults head out.
