About the Charlevoix Hot Cocoa Run
The shorter distance starts on a ferry, which is an unusual place to line up. Neither option is timed officially, though there is a clock at the finish line. The whole thing is woven into a downtown hot chocolate tasting that runs through the afternoon, so finishing the run leads directly into sampling cocoa from local spots in Charlevoix.
The event benefits the Rayder Den and a holiday food bag program for the local elementary school. Participants in the shorter fun run get their own mugs at the finish, which doubles as your vessel for the tasting afterward.
