About the CCD’s Holiday Race for Recovery 5K
The course winds through the historic streets of New Castle's old district, which gives the route a different feel from a typical park loop. Many runners show up in holiday costume, ugly sweaters and Santa hats being common sights, so the field tends to look more like a neighborhood parade than a race morning.
Bib pickup happens on race morning under a tent at Fort Casimir, wrapping up shortly before the start. Day-of registration is available at the site as well.
