The course starts at a baseball stadium, heads out through River Bends Park, then loops back to the same field where it began. It runs at dusk, so the glow elements actually work as intended rather than feeling like an afterthought. The route is primarily parkland, and the surrounding trees and paths give it a different feel from a road race.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the event at a local running shop, with check-in at the stadium opening earlier in the evening on race day. Parking will be tighter than usual because a playoff game is happening at the same field that night, so arriving with extra time is worth it.
