This is a program for elementary-school kids that builds over a couple of months before race day. Children log their training miles in small increments during PE or with a parent, working toward the distance of a half marathon spread across the whole program. The final piece is a one-mile run along the Biloxi beachfront on race day. There are no winners, just kids finishing what they started.
