About the Carpenter Farms Pumpkin Patch Dash

The course winds around a working farm and its hayride trail, so the surroundings feel genuinely agricultural rather than park-like. Underfoot you will find a mix of grass, stone, and open field, with some uneven patches, so trail shoes or sturdy flats are a better call than road shoes. Straw critters are scattered along the route, which gives the whole thing a seasonal, slightly goofy character.

After the race there are donuts and cider on site. Awards go to the top finishers in each category, and the overall male and female winners take home a pumpkin trophy. Strollers are welcome, though the terrain makes pushing one a workout in itself.
