The course winds through the Walton Park neighborhood, where residents go all out with holiday light displays. The whole point is the houses, so the pace tends to be slow and stop-and-go as people gawk. It is an evening run, dark enough that the lights actually read, and the atmosphere is more neighborhood stroll than road race.
