About the Cardio Kidz Fall Running Series
Cardio Kidz runs its fall series out of Pine Park, with distance options scaled to age and grade, from short sprints up through a mile. The emphasis is on personal progress rather than beating other kids, and there is an alternate shorter distance for children newer to running. Before each race, organizers lead a brief group discussion built around a word of encouragement.
The series runs over several consecutive Sundays. Kids are tracked week to week, with progress reports meant to build goal-setting habits alongside the running itself.
