About the 17th Annual Captain Seth Mitchell HERO 5K Run and Walk

The course runs through historic downtown Loveland, starting and ending at a park along the way. It is a flat road route through a small river town, and the race honors a local soldier killed in action overseas. Proceeds go toward a memorial scholarship through the local schools foundation, so the purpose of the morning is felt throughout.

Packet pickup happens on race morning only, no early option. Check-in is at a parking lot in downtown Loveland, near a canoe and kayak outfitter. Post-race refreshments are set up after the finish.
