About the Cape Canaveral Reindeer Run 5K

The race starts and finishes at a park right on Ridgewood Avenue. The course runs on open roads, so local traffic and residents share the space, and volunteers are posted along the way to keep things moving. Dogs on leashes are welcome, which gives the morning a neighborhood-walk feel alongside the racing.

This is a cupless race, so bring your own vessel for the water stops. Packet pickup runs the day before at the community center on Orange Avenue. On race morning, a nearby elementary school serves as the parking area, with volunteers directing traffic in from Washington Avenue.
