About the CANNONBALL Course Preview & Countdown Event
The route starts at Jaycee Park and offers several distance options, so you can pick how far you want to go before you head out. Guides run at varying paces, which makes it easy to find someone to move with. The event is organized as a preview and countdown for a larger festival, so there is a sense of anticipation in the air.
Check-in opens early in the parking lot near the Spencer Love Tennis Center, just before the Country Park entrance. After the run, the group moves to Fleet Feet GSO for a post-run celebration. Street parking on the surrounding avenues is the move there, since the lot itself is kept open for people hanging out.
