About the Camp Leavenworth 5K

The course runs on closed roads through historic downtown Leavenworth and out along the bluffs above the Missouri River, so there are genuine views once you get up there. The road surface is smooth throughout, and the bluff section gives the route a bit of character that a flat downtown loop would not.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the race's home base, with a morning-of option at the start area. Downtown has several free parking lots close to the start. A beer ticket is available at the finish for those of legal age, which makes the post-race gathering worth sticking around for.
