About the Cafecito5K
The course runs through Haulover Park, right along the water on the Miami Beach side of Collins Avenue. The terrain is flat, the surroundings are open, and the morning air off the bay tends to make the early start feel worth it. A kids dash runs after the main race, so families often stick around well past the finish.
Packet pickup happens on race morning before the start, with the park opening early enough to settle in before the gun. The real draw at the finish line is the cafecito, a nod to the race's whole identity. Grab a cup, find some shade, and watch the awards go out to overall and age group winners.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Cafecito5K has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 20, 2026.
