About the Cadillac YMCA Festival of Races
The course runs out and back along Lake Cadillac, starting from the Rotary Pavilion on the water. Several distance options are available, from a short kids run to a lake swim to longer road distances, so the morning draws a wide mix of people. The route is flat throughout, and the lake stays in view for most of it.
Transportation from check-in to the various start lines is handled by the organizers, which makes the logistics easier than a typical point-to-point setup. Proceeds support a free YMCA membership program for local seventh graders, so the race has a clear local purpose behind it.
