About the C.D. Fulkes PTA Heart of Round Rock Run
The course runs through Old Settlers Park, a large open park on the east side of Round Rock. The route is straightforward and works well for a wide range of paces, from those there to race to those just out for a morning walk with the kids.
The post-race party has a DJ, a bounce house, family games, and food trucks. The event is put on by a school district PTA, and the proceeds go toward classroom supplies, staff grants, and student programs, so the crowd skews toward families from local campuses.
