About the Burnin' Rubber 5K Run and Walk

The course runs on the oval track at Owosso Speedway, so the surface is pavement built for cars, not feet, and the whole thing stays flat. The finish line is the same one stock cars cross, complete with a checkered flag. A NASCAR driver from the area is expected to run alongside the field, which gives the evening an unusual atmosphere for a road race.
