About the Burn the Bird 5k Fun Run
This is a post-Thanksgiving morning run in Ogden, the kind of outing that draws families out the day after the holiday. The course is a standard road distance, nothing technical, and the pace of the crowd tends toward easy. It reads more like a neighborhood gathering than a race.
After the run, there are refreshments on hand, and the start area doubles as a spot to demo running shoes from current lines. Vendors bring same-day shopping discounts, and a raffle runs with prizes that include a local marathon entry.
