The Burn Run is a Halloween-themed race in Canastota that raises money for burn survivors across the state, along with the healthcare workers, EMS crews, and first responders who serve them. Costumes seem to be in the spirit of things, and there is a separate kids' run alongside the main event.
Post-race, expect music, beverages, and awards at the finish. The Halloween timing gives the whole morning a celebratory feel, and the cause behind it gives it some weight.
