About the Bullhook CHC's First Annual Zombie Run/Walk
The course starts and ends at Deaconess Park, and the whole point is surviving it. Runners wear health flags, and zombies stationed along the route try to take them. Reach the finish with a flag still attached and you are a survivor. Lose them all and you have been infected. Costumes are encouraged either way. The route mixes paved paths, dirt trails, and some narrow sections.
Race-day registration opens in the early afternoon before the waves go off. After the run, the park stays open for food vendors, music, and a Hallowmarket. The organizers plan to hold it regardless of weather, so layer up for whatever the sky brings.
