About the Bulldogs On The Run 5K & Bark
The course runs through downtown Orangeburg and benefits students at a local university, so there is a sense of local purpose to it. A shorter companion route traces the outer edge of the main course and is open to those who want a more casual distance. The terrain is urban and the route stays in the heart of the city.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a location to be announced, with an early morning option on race day as well. A live DJ performs at the start and finish, so the area has some noise and energy before and after you run. A medical tent is posted at the finish line.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Bulldogs On The Run 5K & Bark has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
