About the BuckeyeThon 5K
The course runs through the Ohio State campus, passing some of its more recognizable views. Families connected to Nationwide Children's Hospital cheer along the route, and there is music playing as you go. It reads as a charity run first, with the campus backdrop giving it some scenery worth noticing.
After finishing, there is a post-race gathering with food, bouncy structures, and a student band performing live. You can also meet some of the children the event supports, which gives the finish area a different feel from most post-race spreads.
