About the Brown's Creek Breeze 8k
The route follows a paved bike trail from a restaurant outside town down into downtown Stillwater. The gradient tilts gently downhill the whole way, which makes this a course people come to when they want a fast effort. The surroundings are trail and greenery rather than road and traffic.
A bag drop is available at the start, and a shuttle runs continuously after the race from a brewery near the finish back up to the starting area. That setup means you can leave a bag at the top, run down, and get a ride back without needing to coordinate cars.
