About the Broomall Rotary's - Halloween Firecracker 5K Run
The course runs through Ridley Creek State Park, so expect tree cover, natural terrain, and the feel of a trail-adjacent road race rather than a street event. It is held on Halloween, which tends to bring out costumes alongside the usual running gear. Prizes go to top finishers overall and across a full spread of age groups, as well as the top team.
Packet pickup runs a couple of evenings before the race at a local running store in Newtown Square, with race-morning pickup closing before the gun goes off. The park setting means you will want to arrive with enough time to find your way to the start.
