About the 26th Annual Brooklet Peanut 5k
The course runs through the streets of Brooklet, staying flat the whole way. A lead bicycle guides the field, and the route is well marked throughout. The race is put on by the local high school cross country team as a fundraiser, so the people running the morning are the same ones who will be competing on those same roads come fall.
Packet pickup runs the evening before outside Brooklet Elementary School, with a second window on race morning before the start. The awards ceremony takes place in front of the school after the race wraps up.
