About the Bridgeport 5K Run/Walk

The course runs through the streets of Bridgeport and the organizers are upfront that it has real hills, not just rollers. It starts and finishes at a riverfront park behind a street-level address on DeKalb Street, so the start area is outdoors and open. The route gives visitors a genuine look at the town.

Packet pickup the evening before is at a local brewery and kitchen on DeKalb Street, close to the start. Post-race, local vendors are on site, and there is a live DJ at the finish area. A kids fun run follows after the main race wraps up.
