About the Bridge 2 Bridge Run
The course starts at a historic clock tower and winds through the older part of Georgetown, passing waterfront stretches, historic homes, and the bridges the race is named for. The route is designed to move through the character of the town rather than around the edges of it, so there is a lot to look at.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at Maritime Park, right next to the waterfront, which is also where the race starts. Race-morning pickup opens early and closes just before the gun, so there is flexibility if you cannot make the evening window.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Bridge 2 Bridge Run has been held every year since at least 2015. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
