About the Brick City Run Club - Turkey Trot
This is a Thanksgiving morning gathering put on by the Brick City Run Club alongside the City of Newark and the Newark City Parks Foundation. The route is short enough for the whole family, whether people are running or walking, and the mood is more morning-stroll-before-dinner than race day. Donations of non-perishable food or toiletries are welcome at the door.
Parking is tight, so most people walk over, carpool, or come by public transit. Check-in opens before the start, and you need to be checked in and registered before heading out, so arriving early is worth it.
