This race is part of the Breathitt County Honey Festival, so the morning has a local-celebration feel around it. The course runs through the Lakeside neighborhood near Panbowl Lake. A kids' fun run kicks things off before the main distances begin, and adults have several options, from a short walk to a longer run. A portion of each entry fee goes to local youth track and cross country teams.
