About the Braving The Elements 5k

The course starts at an elementary school and finishes at the local VFW, so you are moving through town rather than looping back to where you began. It runs during the town's Winterfest parade weekend, which means there is already a crowd out and the atmosphere reflects that. Snow is part of the deal and part of the name.

Check-in opens in the morning at the elementary school. The race itself goes off after the parade clears, so the start time floats a little depending on how the parade goes. A portion of what you pay to enter goes to a charitable cause.
