About the Brassfield Estate Winery's Whine Now, Wine Later Run
The courses run through the vineyards at Brassfield Estate Winery, up in the High Valley AVA above Lake County. The terrain is volcanic soil over rolling hills, and the views open up toward Mount Konocti and Round Mountain as you climb. Several distance options mean you can pick how much hill you want to deal with.
Bib pickup runs the morning of the race before the first wave goes off. The finish area has wine, food, and live music, so there is genuine reason to stick around after you cross. Note that dogs are not allowed on the course or at the event.
