About the Branford Thanksgiving 5K
The course runs through a residential stretch and past a golf course, with no real climbing to speak of. It starts and finishes at a middle school, so the area around the start is open and easy to navigate.
The post-race spread includes chowder, and there are kids activities and music while people mill around after finishing. The race benefits a local Rotary Club and a YMCA, and the whole morning has the feel of a neighborhood gathering before the holiday meal.
