About the Brandon Bulldog Red Nose Run

The course runs through the Magic of Lights display at the Brandon Amphitheater, starting at sundown, so the whole thing takes place in the dark surrounded by holiday lights. The terrain has some uneven sections and loose gravel, so trail shoes or something with grip will serve you better than road flats. Strollers are welcome, which tells you something about the pace and atmosphere.

After the race, the party moves inside the amphitheater to Santa's Village for the awards announcement. The event benefits the Brandon High School Band Program, so the post-race crowd tends to include a lot of families connected to the school. Dogs on leash are welcome on the course without registering.
