About the Bradford Park Turkey Trot
The Bradford Park Turkey Trot runs through a residential neighborhood and benefits the Harrisburg Crisis Assistance Ministry and a local food pantry. Runners are encouraged to bring canned goods, and each donation earns a raffle ticket for a prize drawing at the end. Prizes go to top finishers across several age groups, and the best-dressed participant gets a special award.
Timing is handled by each runner individually, so a watch is useful. Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at a private address in the neighborhood, with race-morning pickup available at the start area on Revere Lane.
