About the Boydton Day Boo Bash 5K Run/Walk and Costume Contest
The course runs out and back along a section of the Tobacco Heritage Trail, a smooth, packed surface with only gentle rolling along the way. The surroundings feel quiet and natural, and the trail underfoot makes it easy going for both runners and walkers. Costumes are welcome, and there is a costume contest alongside the run.
The race serves as the opening event for Boydton Day, so finishing means stepping right into a parade and a full stretch of vendors and activities nearby. Post-race, the town is already buzzing. Proceeds benefit the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association.
