About the Bootjack Fun Run 9.06K
The course runs along a paved road beside Portage Lake, with wooded surroundings on a route that is essentially flat lakeside pavement. Several distance options are available, from a full run to a short children's course, and dogs on leashes are welcome. Proceeds go to the local first responders. The race starts and finishes at a restaurant and bar in town.
Pre-race pickup happens the evening before at the Dreamland Restaurant and Bar, with race-morning check-in there as well. The start area doubles as the finish, so you end where you left off. Door prizes are drawn mid-morning, and winners are posted at the Dreamland.
