About the Boot Run 5K - RGVLS Champs for Champions
The Boot Run is a cowboy-themed race in Mercedes with a main course for older runners and a shorter kids' race running alongside it. The fun-run option skips bibs and timing entirely and asks participants to show up in their best cowboy boots, with a prize for the most impressive pair. Boots are welcome but never required.
Packet pickup runs the evening before for pre-registered runners, with a window for late registration on race morning before the start. Awards follow a few hours after the gun, giving everyone time to finish before the ceremony.
