About the Boos and Booze 5k

This Halloween-themed race in Green Springs runs rain or shine, with costumes strongly encouraged. There is a kids costume contest and an adult one, with prizes for the top finishers in each. A children's dash follows the main race, making it a family-heavy morning. Wagons and strollers are welcome on the course.

Registration opens the morning of the race for anyone who signs up last minute. Each participant gets a drink of their choice at the finish. All proceeds go toward the town's Independence Day Celebration, so the entry fee doubles as a community donation.
