About the Boooo-mfield 5k

The race starts and finishes outside Skiddoo and Narda's Café in the Watsessing neighborhood. Costumes are encouraged, and cheer squads line the course. Proceeds support the local high school's cross country and track athletes and a conservancy group that tends Watsessing Park.

After the run, there are food trucks, coffee from Skiddoo, punches from Narda's, face painting, and live music outside the café. The post-race scene runs long enough that it is worth sticking around.
