About the Book it for Books 5K
The course runs through Roosevelt Park, a large county park in Edison. The terrain is typical park running, mostly flat paths through open green space. The literary theme carries into the morning itself, with a costume contest where runners show up dressed as book characters, which gives the start line a different feel than most local 5Ks.
Race-day packet pickup happens on site at the park before the start. There is also an early pickup option the day before, though the location for that had not been confirmed at the time of writing. Post-race awards cover a broad spread of age groups.
