About the 6th Annual Book It! 5K
This is a Halloween costume run that benefits the local public library. Costumes are encouraged but not required, and leashed dogs are welcome on the course, dog costumes included. Sign-in takes place at the Parish fire station, which is also where the race gets underway.
After the race, there is a chicken barbecue at the Parish Public Library. Tickets can be bought in advance or at the door, and all the money raised goes back to the library.
