About the 2026 Bones Brigade 5K & Fun Run/Walk
This one falls on Halloween, and costumes are strongly encouraged, so expect to share the course with runners dressed for the occasion. The race benefits a high school assistance fund for students and families in need, and that purpose is pretty front and center on race morning. The venue is a local athletic field, which keeps things grounded and easy to navigate.
Raffles and activities run throughout the morning alongside the races, so there is reason to stick around after you finish. The start area is at Frank Varischetti Field, with registration opening well before the gun, giving you time to settle in and find a costume worth competing for.
